Smart Institute Pvt. Ltd is an education company which provides employment-oriented courses via online apps and offline learning centers. Diplomas & Degrees are offered in areas like Management, Banking, Finance, Real Estate, Digital Marketing, Media, etc.

Smart Institute is promoted by members of the Shahani Group, which has been part of the education sector for more than six decades & are on the management of 28 iconic colleges in Mumbai.

Smart Institute has Five main initiatives

Shahani Group

Shahani Group is an independent, education nonprofit organisation whose mission is to improve the practice of continuous learning, collaboration, and change in the education sector.

TSCFM

Courses are offered via a blended learning model in offline learning centres using the brand name Thadomal Shahani Centre For Management (TSCFM) across India. TSCFM’s main campus is located in Mumbai.

SAGE Foundation

Shahani Academic & Global Empowerment Foundation (SAGE) is the non-profit arm of Smart Institute that trains underprivileged youth to gain high paying white collar entry level jobs using grants from Indian and International funders.

Ask Talent Services

ATS is an innovative recruitment firm for entry level job placement. It uses an Artificial Intelligence driven system that combines behavioral neuroscience and data analytics to identify each graduate’s attitude, skills and knowledge using our proprietary A.S.K. Benchmarks framework & matches them to the right job.

ask.CAREERS

This offers a range of mobile apps that offer online job-oriented courses across various industry sectors. Most of these online courses give students job placement opportunities via our Ask Talent Services division.

  • Engaged in collaboration with Dr. Tony Nader (Leader of the Global Country for World Peace) and Janet Attwood to receive training in transcendental techniques for promoting world peace and to contribute to the establishment of a Vedic Village in India.

Dr. Akhil Shahani

Managing Director

  • Serial education entrepreneur with leadership experience as Ex-Venture Partner at Kaizen Private Equity and Former Chairman of Global Discovery Schools.
  • Holds an MBA from the prestigious Kellogg Graduate School of Management, equipping him with world-class business acumen and a PhD in Employability from the University of Liverpool, demonstrating deep expertise in workforce readiness and higher education outcomes.
